It is with great pleasure that I provide this letter of recommendation on behalf of Wavecrest Masonry, Inc. Wavecrest recently completed an 180,000 sq.ft. Middle / High School in Williston, FL. performing both the Concrete and Masonry scopes of work. Their contract was in excess of $4.8 million.

The Wavecrest Team was very aggressive in meeting a tight project schedule where multiple buildings were under construction at the same time. At the peak of construction, Wavecrest had over 150 employees on site. Wavecrest’s owner, Mike Wetherall, provided excellent leadership for his crews throughout the entire project and was very much a team player working alongside all of the other trades. Wavecrest was timely in providing submittals, shop drawings and managing the School Boards direct purchase program requirements.

Ryan Companies US, Inc. had the pleasure of working with WaveCrest Masonry on a 200,000 square foot, 4-story assisted living facility which will be the first of several we are planning in the state of Florida. We subcontracted both the masonry and concrete scopes of work to WaveCrest Masonry which was worth approximately $3.5 million dollars. WaveCrest’s performance on the project has been exceptional. They provided outstanding supervision on site and adequate manpower to meet an aggressive schedule and critical milestone dates. Their quality of work is superior to the vast majority of those in the industry and we have had multiple members of our design build team make positive remarks about their work. Their personnel from the office staff to the field staff were easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, honest, professional, and always had a “can do” attitude. This “can do” attitude is exemplified by the fact that there were numerous changes in design which were issued and subsequently implemented by WaveCrest on the same date. In spite of any of these changes, they never failed to achieve milestone dates they made commitments to in completing any of their work.

The largest being an assisted living facility called “Villages Rehabilitation Center” in the Town of Lady Lake. On this project WaveCrest masonry provided an 83,500 sqft building slab on grade with masonry walls and precast hollow core slabs, there was also 23,000 sqft of sidewalks, courtyards and covered entries.
