This year marks 20 years since WaveCrest Masonry was founded. Since 2005, we’ve grown from a small team with a clear focus on quality and reliability into one of Florida’s most trusted masonry and concrete contractors.

Mark Wetherell founded WaveCrest Masonry with a clear vision: deliver exceptional masonry and concrete work without cutting corners. Now that same commitment to quality and consistency defines every job we take on across Florida. Today, WaveCrest is led by Michael Wetherell and Bill Jacobson, who guide the company with over 65 years of combined experience.

We have weathered economic downturns, material shortages, and labor challenges by staying nimble and doubling down on quality. During lean times, we focused on efficiency and retention. In growth years, we scaled with intention. Through it all, our commitment to doing things the right way never changed.

Innovation also wasn’t just the need for new technology, but for us, it’s a mindset. It’s how we’ve earned the trust of our partners in Central Florida. Our adoption of 3D estimating software, mobile-connected project coordination tools, and updated communication systems has only scaled how we operate. We specialize in the complex and challenging, and it’s through innovation that we’ve consistently turned the seemingly impossible into reality.

While methods and technologies will always change, our core values have stood firm. WaveCrest’s company culture remains rooted in safety and mutual respect. As a drug-free workplace with OSHA-certified safety officers on every site, we prioritize the care of our team just as much as our deadlines and deliverables. Safety and support have always been a must but more than that, these drive a culture where people look out for one another. That kind of environment leads to consistency and a team that’s committed to getting the job done right.

To mark this milestone, WaveCrest has hosted an anniversary celebration as an opportunity to recognize the employees, partners, and clients who’ve helped build our legacy.
